Mentored youth turkey

This is going to be tough to top. Tyler Ruckel, 12, of Marshall Township, went hunting with his father, Ken, and Larry Weir, a friend turned guide from Ross Township, on Pennsylvania’s mentored youth turkey day. Good move. Weir called in six gobblers and Tyler ended up bagging this beauty, which had 1-inch spurs and a 10.5-inch beard. He got it, his first-ever bird, near Rochester in Beaver County.
