A West Virginia gobbler

This is how you start a turkey season. Austin Aikins, a junior at Central Catholic High School from Lower Burrell, traveled to West Virginia to take part in that state’s spring gobbler hunt. He bagged this nice bird in Lewis County five days into the season. It had 1-inch spurs and an 8-inch beard.
