Stanley Mountain Vacuum Food System
Company: Stanley (https://www.everybodyshops.com/stanley-mountain-20oz-vacuum-food-system.html)
Gear type: Food cooking and storage
Product description: Anyone who camps knows space can be at a premium. Stanley’s vacuum food system tackles that by serving multiple roles as one package. You cook your food in the steel pot that’s part of this kit, then pack what you don’t eat right away it in the insulated food jar to finish – still hot – up to 13 hours later. The insulated lid doubles as a bowl. This comes with a full-size spork that attaches to the side for storage. This keeps cold drinks chilled up to 11 hours, too.
Available options: This is one piece of Stanley’s “Mountain” series of products. It includes mugs, coffee systems and more.
Suggested retail price: $45.
Notable: This weighs 1.61 pounds. It can hold 20 ounces and stands 5-by-4.2-by-8 inches.
Tip of the week
The best time to use your rangefinder is long before that trophy buck steps into view, not after. When on stand, use the rangefinder on trees, bushes, rocks and stumps around your stand. That will give you an idea how far away things are. Then, when a buck — or bear or turkey or something else – steps into view you’ll know pretty much how far away it is.

Who says mountain pies are just for dessert? Here’s a tasty version for breakfast.
