Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission biologists surveyed Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park earlier this year, and they can tell you it’s got some big muskies.

The Mt. Lebanon man was fishing there earlier this month while on vacation, staying in one of the park’s cabins with family. He was tossing a rubber tadpole-like lure during one of his trips on the water.
Among the fish he caught was a beautiful 48-inch musky.
The fish had a head wound when he brought it in, and he didn’t think it would survive after the fight, so he kept it.
